2022

We host our first leadership development sessions with focus on goal setting and action planning. The workshop was conducted by Joseph Makuyana, a parent and supporter at the academy in Village, Gaborone

2020

Kickstars Soccer is launched in January 2020. A pre-school football arm of the academy aimed at introducing football to children aged under 8 years. The program was run and managed by Warona Ramotlhwa and was later adopted into schools by end of 2020.

2020

The first group of girls joined us. Aaliyah, on the left Joined Gaborone United Girls Team in 2024 after being scouted by former FC45 Academy coach, Stephen Maphosa.

2019

We host our first end of year party with all the players available at Thornhill Primary School. 

2018

Premier Football Academy Changes its name to FC45 Academy after a team meeting to brainstorm ideas of a unique name to define the brand of the academy. One player suggests “FC45” and everyone was in agreement. 

We play our first matches at Crescent School on Lobatse. Travelled with U9 to U13 teams winning 2 or the 3 matches with an exciting u13 match decided on penalties. Lefha Ketheopile saves the last penalty to win the match for FC45 Academy.

2017

Premier Football Academy holds its first camp conducted by former national team player Stephen Maphosa and a surprise visitor from Gaborone United Head coach, Zapata. 

Premier Football Academy  is born on 17 July at Thornhill Primary School in Gaborone. a handful of players showed up for the first sessions being Hamza, Michael, Max, Lorako Mokgosana, Letang, Kereng, Ryan Moir, Rio Teichman, Aiden Lees & Lerako.

* Please note that this registration is for a full season from January to December 2025. Disenrolment from the program requires a written notice of 1 month notice to the Management.
